Throughout history, human beings have generated measurable changes in ecosystems and as a result has been changing biodiversity, especially when we refer to the overexploitation of species, pollution, the advance of the agricultural frontier, holdings livestock, etc., which have generated an environmental crisis of unknown proportions. Nicaragua is recognized as a megadiverse region has a number of species of flora and fauna not yet studied. However, this biodiversity is threatened by habitat loss, identified this issue of great moment seeks to provide solutions through education because it has vast resources to develop educational experiences through awareness. This analysis is done in the educational module know as Biological Station, owned by the UNAN-Managua/ FAREM-Chontales. This unified and organized the information collected in the field laboratories by students and teachers from racing Environmental Science and Science Education in 2010-2013. In this experience the different techniques of collection of animal and plant species are used. Species identification provides data to help make decisions regarding the handling to be given to biodiversity and at the same time the educational experience becomes interesting because the interaction of live theory with practice. That is why the field laboratories on biodiversity, have put on the table an issue that brings great knowledge to the training, not only for the scientific date are of great importance in research, but also as a process of awareness individually. The aim of this article is to promote the importance of field laboratories, as a strategy for raising awareness of biodiversity, since these have the power to bind the field as a practical way to the theoretical capacity of the given in the classroom.
