La influencia de la preparación para las relaciones socioafectivas en el bienestar psicológico y la autonomía de los jóvenes en el sistema de protección

Resumen

A preparação para relações sócio-afectivas desempenha um papel importante na intervenção com os jovens no sistema de protecção. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um estudo sobre o efeito desta intervenção no bem-estar psicológico a partir deste grupo. Visa também determinar se tal preparação influencia a sua autonomia para uma vida independente. Para este fim, foi utilizado um desenho descritivo de investigação quantitativa no âmbito de uma investigação mais ampla sobre as transições dos jovens que abandonam o sistema de protecção. O tipo de amostragem não era viável, determinado por conveniência. O número de participantes foi de 102 jovens homens e mulheres. Foram utilizados o escala de bem-estar psicológico e o escala de autonomia na transição para a idade adulta (EDATVA). O teste Kruskal-Wallis foi utilizado para análise inferencial. Os resultados mostram que a percepção da preparação dos jovens para as relações familiares e sociais tem uma influência positiva no bem-estar psicológico e na autonomia. Estes resultados indicam a necessidade de aplicar estratégias de intervenção sócio-educativas destinadas a melhorar as relações familiares e sociais neste colectivo.
