Abstract

In this interview Gregorio Luri and Aida C. Rodríguez establish a dialogue around the American neoconservative stance. Breaking all the topics, the Trotsky roots of the alleged masters of the current thinkers of this branch come to the surfaced in the conversation, and at the same time it intends to approach the main thesis that sustain this position. Whilst comparing the European policies with those of the United States, we can see the importance that the idea of community has for the American people and for the values and virtues necessary to make a nation grow and develop. The interview also mentions a thinker not very renowned in our country although very influential in American politics such as Leo Strauss. In this sense the article analyses the new American president's strategy to reach the presidency and his approach to the presumably more conservative doctrines.
