Laburpena

The present study, focused on the beginning level of education, was carried out in the VRT nursery schools in the county of Padre las Casas, La Araucania Region, Chile, in which a participatory Research-Action study was conducted for two years, with the purpose of analyzing the influence of the Model of Managing of Quality of the Chilean Nursery Education, on the topics of leadership and managing of educational processes in this type of organization. As it was based on the Research-Action Study, the participatory methodology was applied in order to produce, in each nursery school, a process guided to transformation, change and continuous improvement. The phases of the study were focused on the elaboration of a diagnosis, the formulation of a proposal of accompanying and implementation of this, and finally to end with a process of evaluation and feedback. As a result of this study, it was possible to state, in each educative unit, both, the foundations to carry out the capacity of self-regulation, and the practices of quality that promote the arrangement of teams whose purpose is to learn.
