Resum
The university has been a key agent in the professionalisation of social educators. Knowing its past and present helps to project its future. The university presents us with challenges related to teaching, research, innovation and transfer. However, in order to respond to these challenges, those of us who work from and for Social Education must continue to build bridges in order to provide joint responses. Networking is more necessary than ever if we want to continue training professionals from an integral perspective, with technicalprofessional and personal skills
